BRCC Rotaract Activities and Events in 2005:

1.  Fundraising Project:

a) Blue Ridge Community College/United Way Yard Sale: Spring 2005

• Raised over $300

• Great member participation

b) Providing services to the local Rotary club - pancake sale

c)  Chili Cook-off: won a cash prize

2. Community Services :

            a)  Four Seasons Rotary Club fundraising activity

                        - Chili Cook-off  

b)       Blue Ridge Community College Christmas Celebration

- Children booth for face painting

c)       100 th year Rotary Club Celebration

- Assisted the preparation

d)       MS-Walk-A-Thon

- Members donated $100 for its cause along with 5-mile walk

e)       Four Seasons Hospice and Palliative Care

      - Donated $100

i)         Tour and Luncheon for Rotarian GSE group: Honduras

      - Tour the college campus

            - Member interpreter service

- Arranged the lunch for over 20 guests for each group
